Electrical Safe Work Practices for Clamshell Grill Certification
6 hour class conducted from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm with lunch provided.
With your class ending at 2:30 pm, we recommend that you do not schedule a flight earlier than 5:00 pm which will allow you enough time to get to the airport and check in.

Purpose:
This training course is designed to meet the minimum mandated training requirements specified on OSHA 29 CFR Subpart S. The employees classified as "Qualified for the task of Grill Certification" who will be working on energized, exposed electrical parts operating at over 50 volts should receive adequate training to accomplish their tasks safely. The Qualified Technician should be prepared to work without putting themselves or unqualified employees who are in close proximity at risk.
An electrical safety tool kit has been designed for your safety and is required for this program. The electrical safety tool kit includes:
digital clamp meter
6 - screwdrivers
2 - T-handle hex wrenches
adjustable wrench
flashlight
needle nose pliers
Class 00 glove kit
pouch for tools
closed sign
3 - red lockout pad locks
3 - yellow lockout plugs
2 - breaker lockouts
a pair of clear safety glasses.
Your online registration for this course will include purchasing the electrical safety tool kit. It will be given to you in your class or, if you prefer, shipped to you after the class.
