Why spend time on safety? The answer is simple: we can't take care of the most important people in our lives if we don't take care of ourselves. Safety is the utmost concern of our employers and co-workers. OSHA states that the employer is required to furnish a place of employment which is free from recognized hazards; and that they must comply with OSHA standards. In the same light, it is the responsibility of the employee to comply with OSHA standards, all applicable rules, regulations, and orders.
An accident doesn't just happen…it is the result of equipment not properly installed or maintained, environment issues or employees not working safely OR any combination of the three. This program is designed to teach the hazards of electricity, the causes of electrical accidents and how personal protective equipment and proper procedures are used for working safely with electricity.
Upon completion of this program, you will receive a certificate of completion and wallet card. Your certificate will be valid for the length of your vendor certification. |
